My therapist recommended this song to me when I told her I was going on a rather spontaneous trip to Japan (I finalized my travel plans about two weeks before taking flight). Maybe I was a little brainwashed from having an internship with a teen girl magazine where I wrote about Shawn Mendes almost every day, but I immediately loved this song and found the lyrics to be pretty relevant. I definitely listened to it during takeoff and landing of my arriving flight pretending like it was the soundtrack to an irl movie.
