Tokyo - Vampires and wolves
When someone asks me what the city of Tokyo was like, the only aspect I feel truly matters is the abundance of convenient stores and their overwhelming selection of food. This was a huge deal for me because I don't eat meat (including fish), which is a significant part of the diet in Japan, so each 7/11 was like a culinary oasis for this vegetarian.
Along with the standard snacks, cookies and drinks, every convenient store also has a legit wall of rice balls with a thousand different fillings. Some good, some gross, but nothing will ever win my heart much like a ball of cold sticky rice and seaweed filled with pickled plum. When I think about that sweet and tart combo, my mouth starts to water like a cartoon character looking at a giant cake.
There were more flavors than that, though, so find out which one of the balls you are with my totally accurate quiz!
